UC Davis and Irvine Secondaries

Are the two schools listed in this thread still sending out secondaries? Does anyone have empirical evidence, i.e. last year your friend received one around this time or later? 😎

I dont know if they are still sending them out, but I do know that there is a deadline to turn them in. If noone knows if they are still sending them, then check when the deadline is. If the deadline to turn in the secondary is close (or passed) then they are probably done sending them out.

we got a secondary invite from davis and ucla right before christmas... davis deadline was first week in jan and ucla deadline for the secondary was on the 16th of jan.

I actually know a current UCD med student who got a secondary in spring... I don't think there are any set deadlines. Davis is late on a lot of things because of their move to Sacramento. Also, I recently spoke the admissions person there and she told me to look for a secondary in January. It's still January... so I'm giving it some time before I bug them again.

Check your status - you may be on hold...which really isn't worth any more than not knowing anything.

yeah, i had an interview with them yesterday. supposedly, they only holds interviews twice per month (which is why there are ~40 people at each session).
