Do any current med students at Davis know of any rooms opening up? I called literally every apartment in Davis and there are no 1 bedrooms or studios available for under ~$900 now. Any help please? thanks.

You called EVERY apartment complex!!?? Try property management agencies, maybe?

You know, you can look on craigslist.com too-- you might be able to find something there. Or, davisenterprise.com I'm sure SOMETHING has to open up by Fall. You could also look in Woodland. It's a 15 minute commute, but it's usually cheaper.

Or, you can find another Davis-bound person to get a 2-bedroom with. I'm sure your GF would frown on living with a girl, but just to reiterate for anyone else in Finn's situation, I have a 2 bedroom to myself for Fall quarter if anyone needs to stay somewhere until they can make arrangements. There are always people graduating/moving and subletting places Winter quarter.

I called every apartment listed on UC Davis' Housing View Point List...yea...it was pretty ugly. Hopefully I'll be able to land something soon...I'm sure something will come up. :) No sweat.

I got these from the davis enterprise online:

Americana Arms is kinda crappy. I would only live there if you cannot find anything else. I looked at it and it os over-priced for how small and dumpy the apts are. And I have heard they get bad roaches. But I have a friend who lived there for a year who dealt with it and didn't have too many bugs, so it's a decent last resort I guess. Also try searching for Acadian Propeties, Tandem Properties, and the other property managers like lessismoe suggested.
