UC Davis MPH?

I love this site! I am a recent graduate with a BS in Biology, and I hope to start in a program next fall. I have been looking at the program at UC Davis, and wondered if anyone has any feedback or input on the program? I eventually want to get into epi. I know that Davis is a decent school in general, but I didn't know how the MPH program stands up to others...

I think it's a fairly new program, and though most UC's are pretty decent, Cal and UCLA are far more established, larger public health programs. I emailed one of their advisors and apparently last year they accepted 24/100 applicants, so it seems pretty small too.

Yeah they only take a few people. The cool thing about their program is its only 1 year, and their app was free! I don't know how things will change for next year. With them only taking 20-25% of about 100 applicants, I know that they like to take mostly professionals and only a few recent graduates.

I got into UC Davis for MPH. Does anybody know anything about the program? I know it's new and quite small, but does anybody have other info? Thanks!
