i've been "DENIED" for an interview for over a week, and i have yet to see any formal indication of this, snail or email. many of you have given me hope that i may not be formally denied an interview, especially cause there is no date listed as to when i was DENIED an interview. if anyone gets a formal rejection letter, let me know!

Sorry man..you are fuct. I got the same 'DENIED' message and after emailing them they sent me the confirmation that I was indeed rejected, like 2 weeks later. This was confirmed by phone as well.

Hope you have better luck at other schools.

haha. thanks man. its ok, i went there for UG and really wasn't that interested in spending another 7 years for MD/PhD there... btw imma chick 😉

Finally got an interview...with only one interview date left 😀

I just called again today, having been put on pre-interview hold for the last six months. The lady told me the committee should be meeting again next week and to call back in two weeks or so. Apparently I'm in the last batch of people to be considered, which I don't really understand given the early completion of my secondary and what I thought were relatively competitive stats.

I just checked my status today, and I got an interview too! I was complete end of Dec/beg of Jan.

I called recently and they told me that they are interviewing in April for nonwaitlisted spots and that they will interview some in May for waitlisted spots.

I don't think "decision pending" can be anything good. If you were to get an interview they would just allow u to schedule it. If you are "pending review" I think you still have a chance at interviewing.

Maybe someone should call and make sure? That's just my guess.

Not true--my status page had said "Decision Pending" for over a month before I finally got my invitation to interview. I don't think you can really tell if you're going to get an interview based off of "Decision Pending" vs "Pending Review." I think Decision Pending basically means they've already looked at your application once, and are going to look at it again for the last time soon. But yeah, I've known people who have gone both ways with "Decision Pending" and "Pending Review." So don't give up hope!
