All I read was "It gives me great pleasure..." and I think was all I had to read before it sank in. Maybe I should read the rest though, it could say "It gives me great pleasure to REJECT you.." I'm kidding. Good luck to you ChocoBo, I'm sure yours is in route to you very soon.

mmm, get there early, cuz the office is kinda hard to find if it's your first time there. other than that, relax, chill out, their interviews are pretty tame if your know your apps.

Congrats on the interview...I would recommend the following:
1. Read up the interview feedback from the SDN website
2. Check out the UCLA website to see what kind of research interests they have (look at recent fundings, recent centers of research that were opened, etc...basically, look for the trends)
3. Really know your AMCAS application really well

And...relax...when you go in the for the interview approach it as if you want to make friends with the guy/lady, and not as an interrogation...make it conversational, ask about the interviewer and have a conversation before he/she launches into the questions.

Haha EXACTLY. NO I've been meaning to change my avatar for a while...its been buggin' me...But yeah, It is a new chapter of my life, I will save a LOT of time not worrying/checking that status page and/or mail...now I can be even more productive in tha lab.

BTW...everytime I read chocobo...I think of choc-o-taco...you know that icecream taco that you can get at taco bell....damn good

UCLA was a pretty chill place to interview. Typical questions, nothin out of left field. Open file so you probably know the drill. Pretty good lunch options..heh. Make sure you tell them your a trojan fan and that you completly enjoyed the beating they took from USC this year. 😉
