Thought I start one cause the one from last year was very helpful. May I add, UCLA MED IS THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY. YES, THATS WHAT I SAID....THE BEST IN THE FREAKIN COUNTRY.

Feel free to ask questions about the school and curriculum. I dont know how much I can help on the application stuff, but I could tell you about the school. Ill try to check this thread frequently.

And the athletic programs are the best in the country, so is the location, and the facilities, and the weather, and the campus, and the girls......

Is the medical school on campus?

well its on one part of the campus, kinda separated a little bit from the ugrad campus.

The medical school is on the southeast corner of the campus, right near the medical center.

And I'll have to second what docmemi said. We've only had orientation this week, but so far, I really like UCLA. (Ok, I'm not crazy about the temporary housing situation, but the Class of 2009 won't have to worry about that anyway.) Good luck to everyone applying to UCLA for next year. 🙂

hey guys i am currently a studnet at ucla, for undergrad, and i stopped by the med school admissions office and they said they are going to send out the Primary Receipts next week.... my just finished his first year at ucla med, love it, the location is great, i grew up here, the women are gorgeous, the weather is perfect.. what more can i say

I'd guess that everyone's staying. If someone did leave now, I don't know if the school would accept anyone off the waitlist after orientation week. It's too bad we didn't get to be classmates! At orientation I was talking to a few students who posted on SDN, and almost all of them knew who you were. I wish you all the best at Davis. If half the people we met at second-look end up going there, I think you guys are going to have a great time. 🙂

oh man haha. well hopefully the talks were nice things. but yeah. almost everyone that i met and were friendly with up at davis are now all gone haha...this includes you!!
