Here is the schedule from last year, I assume it would be about the same for us.

First of all, I am not so concerned with housing as I am with the IM football team. 😉 i'm def. down for a little saturday morning two hand touch.

I am waiting to hear from housing before I start looking for something on my own. (Dumb move...? Hope not!) i am definitely keeping my fingers crossed for weyburn.

How many of you people have facebook profiles? I got KAP, DJsahand and MdkHappy on my profile already.

All that is left now is for them to tell me "too bad, you need to get private loans beacause your parents are both teachers and make just enough for you to not get good money, even though they can't pay jack."

the joys of professional school... wow, i really hope i get rid of this bitterness by sept.

has anyone been given an offer from weyburn? I just read some Q and A's from the housing website and they said that offers will be given starting march 27 til aug 1. I'm guessing it means you'll get an offer if you requested to move in btwn those two dates, but then when will we get an offer for our later move in dates? oh, and i completely messed up my need access... im so pissed. so now im going to vent...

good question about the weyburn move-in dates... I really hope to get a spot there. i don't care if i have to room with Charles Manson himself, just give me a damn spot!

Curious- how did you screw up your need acces/how do you know you screwed it up? I really didn't feel that sure about anything i did in the financial aid process so i am now worried that i made the same mistake you did.

"If you are an incoming graduate student who has been designated with a housing guarantee from your department and you have submitted your housing application, we will notify you of your Weyburn offer via e-mail by May 23. We will continue to make offers to guaranteed students as they apply.

If you do not have a departmental housing guarantee for Weyburn Terrace, you will be placed in a random lottery pool and offered housing based on availability. We will begin making lottery offers in mid-June and will continue to make offers until all spaces are filled."

I just emailed Noemi asking if we have a guarantee (which we probably don't lol).

I messed up my need access by putting my mothers info on the divorced parent form, when I should have put my fathers eventhough he no longer contributes any money to my family. 😡

WTF- that sucks... so when we gonna hear? When do we make backup housing plans? This crap is so stressful to me, it'll be relaxing knowing you got your financial aid and housing, i dont care how many tests they give me in a week- cant be more stressful than this.

Don't worry, be happy. If you or your future classmates can't secure a place at Weyburn, post your sos in this thread before looking for an apartment. I know this dormitory type of rental unit across from dental school. Cost is comparable to Weyburn and you just can't beat the convenience of being so close to the school. I won't respond to any inquiry until then.

I sent the form in in January, but I don't think it matters when you applied- I think it was all luck of the draw.

i sent in my forms in beginning of February, but I am applying for the ucla family housing, hopefully at University Village. My lease is almost up at my current place and I hope the housing people have not lost my application!
