Had pre-Dec interviews for 5 schools and got accepted to 4! I withdrew my acceptance to Touro and USC is too expensive to be an appealing choice so I'm now between UCSF and OHSU. I don't really have financial support from family, so I plan on paying for school through loans and any aid I get.
UCSF and OHSU are both great programs and both have relatively small class sizes. I love that UCSF is close to home (Bay Area native), but OHSU appears to have a stronger clinical program. I'm torn! OHSU would be more expensive for me but I'm thinking the cheaper cost of living in Portland would make the price tag between the two more similar? Would love to hear thoughts and opinions from current students at these schools or other students who considered these schools.
