Does anyone have any first hand experience with the COL (Cost of Living) Application for students who study at UCSF/SFSU?
And just like the general living costs of being a student in the Bay Area... I was looking at apartments and man its scary how much it is.

I’m from the Bay Area and it’s definitely on the expensive side. I’d highly suggest trying to find roommates to live with! I’m not a PT student yet, but I’ve definitely got first hand experience about living in the Bay Area! Luckily a lot of people are moving out of San Francisco (due to big companies moving out of CA, moving somewhere cheaper with working at home, etc.) so rents are definitely lower than what they used to be right now!

Thanks for replying! So you'd recommend a house with like 2-3 roommates over trying to find your own studio/apartment?
I was browsing apartments for fun and its scary what little $1200 can get you in the Bay lol

I’d just look at both! You could get a decent house/apartment with that budget, assuming you have roommates that would be paying roughly the same. You can message me if you’d like! 🙂
