Hi everyone,
Did anyone from the waitlist received an update on their status? They were suppose to mail us an update on Friday May 18th, but I haven't received anything as of today. Just wondering if anyone heard from them yet.

I got an email today saying that they mailed an update on May 21st....so it should be here in a few days.

In the case that you can't wait for your letter to arrive: from what I can tell of the class, I think a couple of people have gotten off the waitlist within the past week. This is including someone who was #2. So hopefully you'll have moved up two or so spots! Good luck

Yep, I moved two spots. I just got my letter today...

If this helps anybody I was #24 on the waitlist but I am going to SC. I didn't send in all of my transcripts to UCSF so they may have already dropped me from the list but I am not sure since I did receive the e-mail a couple days ago

I'm in the class and a couple of students just joined our facebook group this past week. I asked one of them and he said he was #2.

So they are suppose to mail us another update this Friday. Did anybody ever ask them how many students they accepted last year? Not the range they usually give (2-40 or something like that) but the exact number of students they took off the waitlist last year.

I think I remember hearing they took 12 off the waitlist last year. But they said they've taken as few as 2 and as many as 24. I could be hallucinating though (since I'm trying to remember back to Feb when I interviewed), but the number 12 sticks out in my mind for some reason.

I just got the 3rd update in the mail today dated 6/18. Just moved one spot.

According to last update I was number 13. Haven't received the new update yet.
