For UF students,

Looking at the UF website, it seems you are in class M-F 8:30am until anywhere from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Is this accurate?

If you're in Gainesville and you decide to go to every class. Most students stop showing up to every class after a few weeks though.

Imperial Frog - I assume you mean everyone starts viewing the lectures online. How many hours a day do you spend on campus for classes that require you to show up in person?

I'm in the Orlando campus with James (imperial frog). Every week is completely different and it's also different based on the year you're in. If you're looking for a 9-5 schedule then it's probably not right for you.

First year I'd say we were on campus on average 2-3 days/wk. Some weeks less and some more. Somedays we'd come home and have 4 or 5 lectures to watch. It's very tricky to make a set schedule. I didn't have a problem fitting in everything though. My first year I went out 2-3 nights/wk with no problems.

Second year we were there 1-2 days/wk. But we also had a lot more tests. Many weeks we'd just come for tests. Also most of our tests are from 7-9pm (at all campuses) this is so every campus takes the exam at the same time. Second year is a lot more time home but A LOT MORE STUDYING.

Third year we're on campus 4-5 days/wk but there are fewer exams (except for finals week!). Third year is more hw/assignments/projects and less lectures.

That's a basic breakdown.

I remember why the online schedule is so confusing to new students. They block out huge chunks of time for the 1 credit practicum class, making it look as if you attend 5 days a week, when in reality you only meet on one of those days.
