So i was planning on applying as a transfer to Rutgers School of Pharmacy for fall 2005. I have a Bachelors already. I basically have a 4.0 science gpa and something like a 3.7-3.8 cumulative. Tons of experience in pharmacy and recommendations blah blah blah. With all those credits, I feel I would be a strong applicant with very good chances to get accepted. However, I was not able to fit micro-economics and statistics and physiology into my spring semester. I was planning to take those required classes over the summer. I originally thought that they would accept students under conditional terms and let them finish the rest of their minor requirments over the summer. However it seems that that is not possible. The school told me that any student who did not have all their courses done by end of spring will be declined. Now i have to wait ANOTHER WHOLE YEAR before I apply. Worst thing about all this is that I feel I had a very good chance for this year too but just becuase I wasnt able to finish all the minor require classes I gotta wait another whole year. Im almost 25 and getting old reaaal fast and Im worried what the future holds.
Any advice anyone? Espeically those who were in same situation or is planning on applying to Rutgers as welll for 2005??
