UIC and Howard sending out rejection letters??

Please help!! I have completed the secondaries from UIC and Howard. I have not heard anything from them. Have they send out rejection letters to applicants that completed their secondaries? If so, does that mean they are still considering my application or am I not looking good since it's so late in the process? Thank you so much for your time!!

i also applied to both schools, and haven't received anything from either. i believe howard interviews until end of may.

but at this late point in the game, it's unlikely there will be any good news. I think they're just slow in doing the paper work, and i'm expecting the rejection letters in the mail anyday now.

Nope, I haven't interviewed at either school. Hi c33, I'm hoping that people are getting rejection letters so that it wouldn't be slow in paper work. I believe that your right though. Well, hopefully we'll get more responses to this topic.

UIC does hand out pre-interview rejections cause I got mine like in Feb, so youre prob still being considered for a possible interview...if theyre still interviewing. Good luck!!!

Interviewed at UIC in OCTOBER! Was told there was "no decision... no further contact is necessary as you will be notified when a decision is made" in Feb. and still haven't heard from them!!!

Hi JEB3. Wow, you have been waiting for awhile. I wonder if "no decision" means that you're on the waiting list. Are you an IL resident?

c33, yes I am from UC Berkeley. Sadly, the process isn't going well for me. UIC and Howard are my last two hope. How about you? I hope you're doing fine. Are you graduating this May 24 at 7:00pm at Greek Theater as a MCBer?

immuno, i'm also a fellow MCBer, but i graduated may 2001. I've been working for the past yr, and it's been a really good experience.

i currently have 1 acceptance and 2 waitlists, so i'm not too bothered by Howard or UIC's lack of efficiency.

this process IS really tough, just hang in there, good news might still come for you! best wishes and good luck :wink:

Damn! that's a long time. have you been calling? you know their committee meets about the middle of the month every month. but its too late now, cause their last meeting is in may, around may 15th when they will accept the last bunch of people and reject others and place yet others on the waitlist. i hope i dont get booted.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> 3 days until the big show... yikes!

i went in to talk with UIC adcom today. they meet this week. this is the official last meeting of the adcom where they will accept the last bunch of people. you will either get in, get rejected, or be placed on the alternate list. and you should know very soon. im freaking out!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
