Hello everybody...
Last week I received my acceptance letter from UIC. Though I'm going to attend BU...
I denied UIC's admission offer, so somebody else from a waiting list will be called.
Friends, has anybody applied for loans already?
I filed FAFSA but I have no idea what to do next. :-\
Please help me out.
Thanks in advance! 🙂
Thanks, starrynight.
My SAR was ready the next day after I filled out and submitted FAFSA.
So what's next?
Should I just relax and wait??? 🙂
so, we're 11 for UIC 2010🙂 naz, syriana, dentalbug, preetha, priya, itsme, gabi, shweta, cementum, drabc, starrynight....did i forget someone?

sorry, i don't have the means to find that; you can ask on the forum and see who is answering; as far as i am concerned, count me out😉; still, i can say that at least 3 of them worked as a DA..
Hi all...congratulations!!!
I had a doubt...wud b glad if any of u cud clear it
i jus wanted to know thats do all of u hav greencard or citizenship as UIC website says it is a must for applicants.???
i am on H4 visa can i apply to UIC???
😕😕😕i'm really confused plz help!!!
you need GC or citizenship in order to be accepted at UIC; you could apply , but it would be a waste of money because they would consider your application as incomplete;

You should get an WES eval done ASAP. In my experience and opinion from SDNers the ECE GPA is usually lower than WES (this may not be a fact or eval agency's results, just my opinion). In past in general what i have noticed is that if you have a ECE GPA that is 2.7 to 2.9 the WES GPA depending on case but comes out about 3.3 to 3.5 (Please do not use this as conversion and do the eval at your own risk b/c the cost is about $150 or something like that). 🙂 🙂
Good Luck

i think ECE has a 4.0 GPA scale
WES has a 5.0 Scale.....so it boils to the same....
like 2.7 -2.9 on 4.0 scale is same as 3.3 - 3.5 on 5.0 scale
correct me if i'm wrong...
Really!! I thought US GPAs are all based on 4.0, but may be. I do not know akg. Thanks for clarification if it is correct.
http://dentistry.uic.edu/depts/admissions/iddp/requirements.cfm?m=3&o=3Is UIC accept only green card holders? what about like as who don't have anything(green card,citizen ship,etc)!

Hello fellow UIC students
I just received official letter from UIC office of admissions & records, saying that I am admitted to the college of dentistry starting summer 2008 🙂🙂.
see you in may

Was it by regular mail or by Fedex? ( I am a little worried because I just changed my home address)
Thank you very much
we will need extracted sound teeth to be able to work on at endo classes; they have to be without decay or crowns or fillings...the teeth must be kept in a wet/humid environment, otherwise will easily crack at the endo procedures; keep them in a solution with H2O2 or some chloride..or just water..ideea is not to be dry(dry means fragile, easy to perforate);
ask at dental offices to keep the teeth they extract..for premolars, the ortho extarction are ok; also the teeth have to have the apices closed ...
my status isDo we have the final 24 at UIC now?
anyone know??
Dentalbug

Thanx for guidance.can i apply with score now in ist week of april and can send new score later in june.Your GPA is ok, but you in my opinion, 87+ is a more competitive part I score, also i know from personal experience UIC likes TOEFL of at least 97+, This is my opinion not of the university.
