i filed for fafsa, but the final result we'll be only a couple of weeks before the school begins..so you only have to wait🙂..we received the SAR, right?

you need GC or citizenship in order to be accepted at UIC; you could apply , but it would be a waste of money because they would consider your application as incomplete;

I totally agree with starry - they speficially say that you MUST have a true green card or US citizenship - not a temp GC or Processing GC. I am very sure that we all have GC

You should get an WES eval done ASAP. In my experience and opinion from SDNers the ECE GPA is usually lower than WES (this may not be a fact or eval agency's results, just my opinion). In past in general what i have noticed is that if you have a ECE GPA that is 2.7 to 2.9 the WES GPA depending on case but comes out about 3.3 to 3.5 (Please do not use this as conversion and do the eval at your own risk b/c the cost is about $150 or something like that). 🙂 🙂

i think ECE has a 4.0 GPA scale
WES has a 5.0 Scale.....so it boils to the same....

like 2.7 -2.9 on 4.0 scale is same as 3.3 - 3.5 on 5.0 scale

Hello Fellow SDNers

I agree with starry
Aside from UIC, there are two other schools (UDM and Buffalo), Which will NOT accept or review applications of students without a greencard or US citizenship, etc. I know for a FACT that all three of these schools when i applied, they did NOT accept H1, H4, students, visitors vista, etc. If you have extra $275 (combined cost of application for all three schools), and want to throw your money away feel free to apply. I am just trying to avert you guys from extra hassle and waste of time, money and energy. There are plethora of other schools that do NOT require a GC or citizenship.

we will need extracted sound teeth to be able to work on at endo classes; they have to be without decay or crowns or fillings...the teeth must be kept in a wet/humid environment, otherwise will easily crack at the endo procedures; keep them in a solution with H2O2 or some chloride..or just water..ideea is not to be dry(dry means fragile, easy to perforate);
ask at dental offices to keep the teeth they extract..for premolars, the ortho extarction are ok; also the teeth have to have the apices closed ...

To get endo teeth:

Go by near dentists that extracts teeth, find pretty good ones and have them save them for you, then you can keep for school. These teeth are needed b/c fake teeth do not have canal (atleast the most common ones, you may be able to buy them with canals but that might cost $$$$). These endo teeth are used to practice RCT.

Your GPA is ok, but you in my opinion, 87+ is a more competitive part I score, also i know from personal experience UIC likes TOEFL of at least 97+, This is my opinion not of the university.
