UMDNJ 1-year Biomedical Science

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
how long does it take UMDNJ to make a decision from the time your application is complete?
It took them about 2.5 weeks to make their decision with me. Which campus did you apply to, the newark or stratford campus?

Thanks!!!

They don't accept students for the spring semester. Non-matriculant students are not a degree-seeking students. They might have limited # of classes to take. Also, I believe they do not have the same previleges (ex. using campus facilities) as matriculant students do. Oh... I also believe they do not get a financial aid.

For what reasons may an individual apply as non-matriculant? Is it because he/she has not fullfilled all of the requirements ( gpa, science courses, etc)?

People apply as non-matriculant for many different reasons. These are what I can think of.

1) People who want to take one or two graduate course. People who are not seeking a degree in biomedical science

2) People who were not accepted to the degree program but would like to marticulate after proving they can handle graduate courses

3) People who are interested in a career relates to biomedical science but not committed yet.
