How helpful are 2nd year NJMS students with giving first year students old exams as study aids? Do professors readily give out old exams as study aids or have quizzes/question banks on-line(for biochem, anatomy, neuro, etc...)? Also, are there any first year courses that don't really require buying a book and rely mostly on class notes? Thanks.

I don't go to NJMS but my friend just completed her first year thre - she said that her course exams are old board shelf exams. So I guess studying from board reveiw books should be helpful
