I know there are a lot of new schools opening up and several of ya'll go to them... My question is this, what if they aren't accredited? I know they have to graduate one class to be accredited but I also know it is a complicated procedure and more things are factored into that.
If you graduate and they aren't accredited and yet later down the road they become accredited are you then allowed to sit for the boards or do you have to go back?

Considering I go to a school like this, I think I can help you. In the many many years of pharmacy, not one pharmacy school was denied accreditation. If you are granted pre-candidate status, that means the school is on track for a good pharmacy program. It is the first step, but it's also the hardest step for any school. Honestly, I don't see this being a problem at ant school as long as they have received pre-candidate status. I hope this helps!
