Hi there! Is anyone on this forum applying to UNC-Chapel Hill for MPH? (I'm personally interested in the HBHE stream) If so, is anyone else having trouble accessing their actual application page? Not the one where you register initially but the one through http://my.unc.edu/dt ?

I had no problem logging in to my account when I was using it. You just have to keep pressing continue to go to the next page. HOpe this helps 🙂

I'm applying to the MHA program at UNC-I'm also having trouble logging in. I'm getting an error that says "An error occurred processing your request". I called a friend of mine who currently goes to UNC. She says that this happens quite a bit, and it may be because undergrad freshman may be registering. She also said it usually takes a day or two to get fixed 🙂

Thanks for your replies! It is working for me now. I guess it's just a matter of being patient with the system... 🙂

I am applying to the UNC-MPH Nutrition program. Anyone else applying?

I'm thinking of taking a year off from med school to do their MPH program.

The one year program at UNC-Chapel Hill is an MSPH, unless it has changed this year to an MPH.

How can the MSPH be one year, when the number of required credits for the MSPH (60) is more than the MPH (42)?

This page describes the various degrees and their credit requirements in MCH:

The MSPH is 42 credits. When I was accepted there last year, it was clear that 1-year students received the MSPH.

Right, for Maternal and Child Health. I was assuming the number of credits was the same across concentration but apparently not. My area is Health Policy and Management and the MSPH and MHA require 60 credits. http://www.sph.unc.edu/hpaa/residential_masters_curriculum__degree_requirements_749_6488.html
