UNC invites for out of staters?

hey guys,

i was complete at UNC after the august MCAT scores came out, so probably around nov1. i still haven't received word from them at all. is anyone else in the same boat? should i call/email? is this normal? i heard they were really slow, but i think i should have heard something by now. oh and i am out of state.

I also have heard nothing since Sept, when they said they had my application. I called them last week. They said that yes, they are so late because I was out of state. They also said they are finishing up with application review in the next couple of weeks, and I should know then one way or the other if I'm in contention for an interview.

UNC is VERY SLOW. That is what I heard. I got an outofstate interview, but possibly so soon (Nov) because my family has lived in NC for a while = got ties to NC. Still no verdict either tho. Hang in there!

I am in the same boat, out of stater complete since early fall. I called last week to ask if my primary application had been reviewed yet, and was told it hadn't. The woman I spoke with said that they would finish reviewing all applications and send out secondaries/other letters by the end of January.
