Who's Eligible

Offer available to all active and reserve commissioned officers, non-commissioned officers, and junior enlisted of the United States or Canadian Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Marines, and Public Health Service.

How Do I get the Upgrade?

1. Send your upgrade request via the help desk
2. Enter "Uniformed Services Membership Upgrade" in the title
3. You must use your .mil, .gov, or AF.edu email address for the request
4. Your account will be upgraded upon confirmation

--- Additional Update for Eligible Veterans ---

We extend our thanks to our veterans who once served in the Armed Forces / Canadian Army / Public Health Service as either an enlisted, warrant, or commissioned officer. We understand that due to past service(s), you may no longer possess a .mil, .gov, or AF.edu account. To qualify for the upgrade, we have an additional pathway to validate your service.

As a Veteran, How Do I get the Upgrade?

1. Send your upgrade request via the help desk
2. Enter "Uniformed Services Membership Upgrade" in the title
3. Login into the e-benefits website (To register, obtain a copy of your DD-214 and follow the prompts)
4. On the dashboard, select VA Letters (or) Letter Generator then download Service Verification Letter
5. Submit the document to one of the SDN staff (we will verify using the timestamp on the letter)
6. Your account will be upgraded upon confirmation
