To all of us who got interviews.

225/350 chance doesn't seem bad at all!

Hey, just wondering, how do you know these stats?
Would you also know a ballpark figure of the total number of applicants?

Thanks in advance either way!

Also OOP and got an invite this morning =)

Email said around 350 interviews and also that they're making 225 offers. 🙂 Lol, no inside info here. I'm also curious about the number of applicants.

I'd also be interested in the prep group.

Count me into the prep group too.

I have sent everyone who receive their invitations and show interest in the interview prep group....please let me know the best time/ location so that we can get started...lol.....

Haha, I see. Well, with my GPA, I'm probably currently ranked in the 350's, so I better knock this interview outta the park.

Hi guys, I got an invite as well!

As for the interview group I've tried to set up before, I've been trying to contact some current pharmacy students who went through the interview practice to see if they could help out with the prep, but haven't gotten any positive response,, sorry about going mia!

Thanks for taking the initiative to get another one going!

Hey Guys,

It seems Saturday 3:00 to 5:30 at Vancouver Downtown Public Library is the most popular choice....everyone but NL and HN can make it. I wonder if we should start 10 minutes early just so that NL and HN can join the discussion and share their opinions?

I mean...there is no way we can have a prep group for 18 people....so I am thinking that we should split into two groups based on availabilities and maybe have a mock interview at the end together.

Anyone who got their invitation is welcome to drop in of course!

I am looking forward to meet you guys!

Hi all!🙂
I have just received my invite 🙂
I want to join the interview prep session as well, is it okay for me to fill out the doodle link you guys have?
Thanks in advance and best of luck to all of us!

LOL sry, i totally forgot about them!!!

GPA: 85
PCAT: 76
Essays: worked hard on them, had couple ppl check them over
Extracurriculars: nothing fantastic, just the usual clubs and volunteering in the community

hi! i'd also love to join in this saturday. where exactly is everyone meeting?

Hey, is there anyone like me here? -- I got the interview twice in the past 2 years, got rejected twice, and have the interview again this year...

any pitiful rejected souls like me still lurking on this forum after 3 years?

I got the invite for an interview! COngratulations to the rest of you that got an interview as well!

I know I should be focusing on the interview right now, but I heard a rumor that UBC pharmacy is going to raise tuition to cover the cost for the new pharmacy building?! Did anyone else hear that? Don't pharmacy students already pay $10,000 a year just for tuition (not including books, student fees, etc)? That is almost 2x the amount for a normal BSc. already!

Don't let that get you down! I got in last year after my 3rd time applying 🙂 Third time's the charm? They're accepting more students this year, and your previous interview experience will definitely come in handy! Best of luck to all of you!

I'm currently paying $679.41 for a 3 credit course. I'm not sure how much non-pharmacy students pay, but I know this is, unfortunately, definitely more.

That's about $76 more per credit than students in general science 🙁

I think the first year tuition... including all the second year courses a lot of people have done is 8-9k.

Which isn't bad considering UofT pays around 14k and their tuition is also getting increased this year.

Wow that is a deal compared to U of T. Over 4 years it really adds up.
