My suggestion is that you create a "University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine c/o 2017" FB group (there's a similarly named FB group for 2014, 2015, 2016....). If you follow the trend the last two years have, you'll get a lot of upperclasspeeps joining the group over summer - who are really great resources for all the questions y'all will have - and then you can kick us out sometime around Christmas once you all have things figured out.

That process has worked well for my class and the current first year class.
