Sorry about that 🙁 When did you receive the email if you don't mind me asking? I think they finished up interviews either last week or this week.

For anyone that has had a post-December interview: how long did it take for you to hear back?
 
Also got rejected today, instate. Was my top choice but I will be going elsewhere now 🙃

Sorry to hear that but at least you have another option! Did you interview with UMN?
 
Has anyone who interviewed pre-Dec but didn’t hear back on December 15th heard anything lately?

I thought they were interviewing through March? The med school for UMN is super behind for interviews / acceptances, so I assumed that even though they said March for dental, it'll actually end up going even longer
 
Heard they’ll be finalizing things next week

did they say that was one of the next dates to hear back, or that everything will be finalized now? the january interview group was told the next date to hear back was jan 31, but that didn't end up happening unfortunately

Yeah I had called early feb and was told the last interview group would be in the end of feb and that decisions would be finalized and sent some time mid-March! But let’s see what happens, it’s been pretty random lol

Also I know UMN med also had their last interview day last week so hopefully now they just have to finalize decisions and send them out
 
Well I guess they said ”they’ll start updating the status next week” so I’m thinking we will hear back then.. there last interviews were last week if I’m not mistaking
 
Yes, I interviewed two weeks ago(?) and they said the next day was the last interview group.

Have any in-state people heard back from UMN since December 15th?
 
there are currently 96 members in the umn dentistry class of 2025 on facebook..😐
 
And also there may still be people holding multiple seats or who will end up going somewhere else so I imagine that number possibly changing a bit soon
 
Anyone else hear back this week? Particularly any IS students?
 
**Huge speculation which should be taken lightly warning**
So we are currently just starting our spring break at the school. Next week we all have off, which could potentially eclipse with the other speculation that I have seen on here of the "Mid-March" stuff. This could potentially give the committee time to really solidify and send stuff out next week. I advise once again, this is only speculation on my behalf and should not be counted on.

I know that this is getting tense and stressful for everyone, as it is in my household to. Everyone still holding on and waiting just needs to know that there is spots left and that in the coming weeks I think they will be filled. Both pre-December all the way until the last interviews in February are ALL still being considered (unless otherwise being told). You are all very strong applicants and the committee must decide between many applications this cycle which takes time. Be patient and be confident.
