Is there anyone from the April 3rd interview? It seems like this forum is full of people who have either interviewed before me or got accepted. I still haven't heard from them about my interview. Can everyone/anyone post how long in days it took to recieve letters? Thanks.

Why don't you call them and ask to check on your status? If I'm not wrong, lots of people who got accepted, usually took them a week to receive the letters. Some people shorter than that.

I interviewed on April 3rd and received my acceptance letter in the mail this afternoon. I actually called them this morning (before the mail came) and they told me that they sent out acceptance letters for that interview date a little latter than usual. Also, if you don't get an acceptance letter within 2 to 3 weeks, you still have a chance to get in b/c the admissions committee allots a set number of seats for each interview day. If they don't fill those seats then they will re-review files of people from previous interviews to fill them. Also take in mind that not everyone who got accepted will ultimately accept their offer. Some people are still waiting to hear back from other schools that they applied to that are accredited. Hope this helps and good luck....!

Thanks 09M3! Congrats. on your acceptances. Are you going to accept the offer?

Just to be safe I am b/c I still haven't heard back from the other school I interviewed at...

ATLBOI- yea i would call them but I dont want to bug them while making decisions on ther peoples file, unless you think they would not mind.

For those who have gotten accepted, did they contact you guys via email, snail mail, or phone call? I heard the adcom met yesterday, so probably they made their decisions already.

ur asking a little too soon, ive noticed that it take atleast one week after you interview to hear anything from UNE, good luck

Hey guys, I interviewed April 3rd and I got my acceptance letter this past Tuesday.

I suggest you rent a car while you're in Portland. It's a very small city and it takes minutes to get anywhere. Plus, renting a car is going to save you money. I remember someone telling me it cost her $20 to take a taxi to the interview from her hotel (in the city). Renting a car only cost me $27 a day! And it will be totally worth it should you decide to do some sightseeing, which you should if you have time. It's a lovely area.

I stayed an extra day and drove to the lighthouses along the coast and up to Cape Elizabeth which is seriously like a 15 minute drive from downtown Portland. I even had time to go to the L.L. Bean factory store in Freeport (another 15 mins away).

i know im asking too soon... im just really nervous about gettin in lol
so if anyone from the april 10th interview has heard back please let me know!
i will definitely appreciate it
good luck to everyone!

i agree! def rent a car and see the lighthouses!

i went to eat at Dimillos restaraunt which is a floating restaurant..
the lobster was delicious! and the waitress was super nice!
i def recommend eating there.. but it is a little pricey..

Hey there folks! For those who were wondering about the acceptance letters for the interview date of April 10th? I received mine this just yesterday Friday, April 17th -- I would expect that letters of acceptances are sent out a week later. Much luck to everyone out there!

I remembered that I tried to contact you last weekend for the same interview date. So you're accepted to two schools right? Any plans -- I probably will submit my deposit since I am waiting on Appalachia College of Pharmacy that I just got done with their interviews this morning.

I was actually from the AM interview session on that day, so probably I didn't meet you. I haven't received anything from them yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this week.

I just received an email from them that they are offerring me a $5,000 scholarship for the 4 years of pharmacy school as long as i keep a certain gpa.. it think it was 2.5

Sigh, nothing in the mail for me today. 🙁 Congrats Rudangel121 on the scholarship offer. 🙂

So has anyone gotten rejected? I wonder if they are waiting on hearing back from students who got accepted before they send out rejections. Does anyone know if April 24th is the last interview.

When I spoke w/ Ms. Redman she said the latest you will have to wait to hear something is some time in May. I was in your interview date. Were you in the morning or afternoon session? Where in Florida are you from? I live in Coral Springs....

Just be patient cinnamoroll12. Are you interested in the UNE program? I hope you get in just like many of us whom were anticipating and waiting for our letters of acceptances to any college of pharmacy. Anyone else from the April 10th afternoon session PM me so we can probably plan things out -- I've sent in my deposit already.

I interviewed april 3rd in the AM session and I have yet to hear from them. I called them but they basically told me to just keep waiting.

Good Luck on April 24th interview everyone! 🙂

ive found a real great deal in portland for 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with all utilities included and its about 2 miles from UNE, only 720 a month, so thats about 180.00 per person, but im looking to share with one other guy and two girls...(i think balance provides a good environment), so if you do not mind living with two members of the opposite sex, PM me and ill share the info

I was in the April 3rd interview. Do you remember the folder you received at your interview? Well if you get accepted, you get the same folder by mail w/ the same info as before except it also comes w/ an acceptance letter and pre-candidacy disclosure statement...

Just to let you guys know, they mailed the acceptance letter already. I was from the april 23rd interview.

I thought interviews were only on a Fri? So if your interview was on April 24th and not the 23rd, then you got accepted the same day you got interviewed....😕 Does this sound right??????

Omg i got my days mixed up. lol. sorry guys. I meant the 18th. The interview that just passed. My letter was dated on the 21st. Sorry sorry

i'll be puttin in my deposit tomorrow morning since the 29th is the last day for me to send it in...
hope to see u all in the fall!!

i hope everyone planning to go to UNE in the fall knows about this

you will need to complete a Red Cross certified Professional Rescuer Training course that includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillator training, as well as advanced first aid. The Professional Rescuer Training course is 8 hours long with a certification exam. You may find the course offered by other organizations but the Red Cross course should be the Professional Rescuer Training course. This was indicated during the interview presentation.

and is anyone from NJ???

If anyone is planning to do the CPR classes, I would suggest wearing something comfortable since you'll be practicing the maneuvers at some point during the training (I hope).

Does anyone know when classes start, i remember reading it somewhere stating that it will be starting in September, is that right? btw, are you guys planning to make a trip out there before the semester begins to take care of accomodations?
