To anyone who has received their acceptance letter and still has the original envelope, what is the postmark date on the envelope and what date did you receive the letter? Just curious. Pathetic, I know, but I'll take anything at this point.....😳

Mine was postmarked the day of the email (April 4) and came on the 5th.
 
You know, it's too bad that the OU adcom can't see these posts. It's obvious that this is very important to all of us. Might make them consider us over somebody who doesn't participate in something like this and who might not really care....
 
Nothing for me yet either 😕 Does anyone know if anyone has received rejection letters or are wait listed? I can't believe it's only been a week since the email from Jennifer Richardson that started this mass hysteria...it has seemed like eternity. 4 days and counting!!!

I was just informed by somebody who contacted Jennifer Richardson that there are no rejection letters being sent - at least not right now. They will try to have everything mailed out by April 15th which means that some people could be getting letters as late as the 17th or 18th.

By the way, the term "mass hysteria".....how appropriate. 🙄

Mine was also postmarked the date of the e-mail (4th) and arrived on the 6th.
 
I just got an E-mail update from Jennifer Richardson. Y'all may want to check your e-mail!
 
Oh lordy!!!

That email made me even more nervous. I think it was the word DENY!!!!!
 
I just received my acceptance letter today in the mail! Who Hoo!! It was dated April 3, 2007 and postmarked on the envelope April 4th! I live in Lubbock, TX so it made it to Lubbock TX today! 😀 Saaweeeeet!!!

My interview was March 3rd!

I marked down OKC Campus. I would turn down the offer if i was sent to Tulsa.

Oh it says "At this time the Admission Committee expects you (me) will attend classes on the Oklahoma City campus" 😀
 
Congrats!!! For the rest of us who are waiting...hang in there our time is comming.
 
I just noticed something that made me roll my eyes. If you scroll to the top of this page you'll see the "sdn" logo in the upper right hand corner and a series of advertisements next to it. I just saw one that said "Be a pharmacist - earn your pharmacy technician degree 100% completely on-line".....

Anybody else see a problem with that statement???

Nada today...kinda expected that...I guess we are all in the group of letters that Jennifer is mailing out by tomorrow...gosh I hope they go out today so we don't have to wait till next week. 😳 Stay positive and remember that the odds are in our favor and I will be praying for all of us who are waiting that we recieve good news!

I really hope you guys all get in - I can tell just from these little chats that I like you and will get along with you great. I always feel better after venting to the people on this site..... 🙂

I know everyone on here is so encouraging. How is the little one doing? Being a parent is amazing and very rewarding but so much work. I have two little ones myself. I don't remember if anyone has mentioned this yet but is anyone planning on working while in school?

I have been offered an intern position at my work (Tulsa hospital). I probably plan on working only 1 weekend a month at first until I see how much I can handle.

WE WILL GET IN!!!
 
I sure do wish there were more italicized names on the Roll Call for OU.

My fingers and lip are doing much much better, thanks!!!

But, now I have a chest cold. 🙁

And, my surgeon's office called me today at 4, and said, "We are now requiring all copayments be made up front, can you pay us 250 dollars by Monday?"

I wanted to say, "Yeah, let me pull it out of my ass for you."

Other than that, everything is G-R-E-A-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍 👍 👍

You are truely a walking MESS!!!

Can't wait to meet you.

Well here is my drama. My mother had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago. She was doing well up until last week and then she no longer could to physical therapy or even get to the bathroom by herself. I kept lecturing her telling her to push through the pain because the joint MUST be moved to decrease the amount of scar tissue formed. Pretty much calling her a wimp and to toughen up.

Well, I took her to the doctor yesterday. Her dad-gum femur is fractured. I have been making her do her physical therapy, exercises, and CMP machine (to move the joint back and forth). All this to make sure she is moving her knee as much as possible. EVERYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO DO WITH A BROKEN LEG!!!!! I felt like such a BEOTCH!!!

But it has gotten my mind off the whole acceptance thing for a bit.
 
I went and bought myself a single piece of carrot cake so that I could throw a pity party for myself. I will feel better afterwards. 🙄
 
btw...for those you who hasn't gotten the letter... I'm pulling for y'all...

My daughter is 7.... look me up in 5 years...I'll give you pointers on how to roll up a nice clay dung..
