March 4th and March 11th I believe.

I hope this helps 👍

Thanks that does help. 🙂

March 4th is filled according to the admission person. Only March 11th is left if anyone is interested.

I did the interview today. Now, I'm anxiously waiting the 2-3 weeks for the result... Here's hoping for the best!!!!

I think those are for people who will not be receiving an interview only.

You've had your interview already. Probably will not hear back until late March, when all interviews are done.

Is March 11th the last interview date or are there more interviews after that? I did my interview in Oct and just wondering when we (ppl on hold) should expect to hear back 🙂 Hoping to hear sth soon although they said end of March.

I believe March 11th is the last interview date. According to their website, by March 15th decisions will be made and mails will be arriving by the end of March.

Is there a deposit fee for UOP? If so, do you know how much that fee is? I think I read earlier on this forum that someone paid 2000 dollars for Touro??? 😱 I'm hoping it's not that outrageous for UOP. 😕

750 I believe. Touro knows most students will reject them so they try to get as much money as possible.

Still a lot, but much, much better than 2000. Thank you for the info.

Bump! Anyone else attending the interview session this Friday? I am so excited, UOP is definitely my #1 choice! 😀

I hope all goes well with that being said :scared:

FYI, rejection letters are going out to those who did not get an interview. I got mine in the mail today.

Dude, I didn't even receive an interview either. But I haven't receive that rejection letter yet. Good luck waiting to hear back at your other schools.

Is UOP looking for something in particular this year in their applicants? I thought I have a pretty solid application that got me invites at other schools in CA. 🙁

Thanks Delano. Best of luck as you start UOP in the fall. I have a good friend in their program and she loves it!

Thanks Sokeen. Maybe they'll still send you an invite.

I was second Tier and was hoping to get an interview but it was not to be. Good luck to you!

i don't believe there's any more interview slots anymore. i got an interview letter. however, when i called in, they said all the interview slots were full. they'll call me if someone declines their interview. oh well..

The professors, students and faculty at University of the Pacific are amazing. The school is wonderful and I just hope I have the opportunity to attend :xf:

I'm pulling for you khmer :xf:

I interviewed on 3/4 and am waiting to hear back. I hope I don't get outright rejected :scared:

Hang in there Khmer, I know quite a few pharmacists and pharmacy students who were put on hold or waitlisted that still got in much later in the process than usual. Several of them even found out a few weeks before school started. Take the fact that you are on hold as a good sign! It may just mean that you have very strong competition to compete with.

I wish everyone well as I have received my acceptance letter from UOP. 🙂

Chempharm, when did you interview and are all your pre-reqs done or are you still completing some? Thank you in advance for the info!

I am still waiting :scared:

I was just wondering how long it took for UOP to accept you once you interviewd???
I had my interview last Friday and am anxiously waiting...

Thanks Auditor. I wonder how those who found out a few weeks before school started transitioned so quickly. You would have to find a place quickly, get settle down, and get ready to start school. Stressful, but that's better than being rejected. I'll sleep in my car for a few days if I have to. lol.

Since I'll be graduating from Fresno State this semester, I've been applying for a lot of things. Advance Study of Khmer (two months in Cambodia to learn the language and culture of my ancestors as well as current events in Cambodia), E&J Gallo Winery internship, chemist positions on Navy bases, etc. I figure I'll have other options just in case I don't get into UOP and if I do get in, I can always decline any offer.

I think that's when they consider location a factor when deciding which applicant to take off the waitlist. A few years ago my friend was called 4 days before the pharmacy school started and was offered a spot in the class. It was her only acceptance so she took it. She lived about 1 hour from the school so she commuted until she found an apartment.

I think this is an extreme case though. This was also not UOP, but a different pharmacy school.
