anyone interview after dec. 1 and waiting to hear back?! i interviewed mid-jan and i'm waiting to hear back later this week. called today and they said the committee is meeting tomorrow, acceptances will be sent out and you can call on friday to find out your status. anyone else waiting?!??!

Did you call creighton ? or UNLV? You should call them today or later soon! Let's hope for the best! You will get in1 Even if they do not accept you, don't be sad about it becuase they are losing one of the best future dentists in the world 🙂. Keep your head up! 👍

I am waitlisted at UCSF. # 38...😱 not a good chance to get in 😀. Oh well... but it is ok! They are gonna regret it that they are losing me 😛.


I am not 100% sure that I really want to go UNLV. I know UNLV is a great school, but I still want to keep my options open until May. I have two more interviews to go, but I don't think I am gonna go to OHSU (too much money🙁). My sis and I've got an interview at midwestern! Next Tue! Double luck for us .

i called earlier today, and surprisingly was able to get through. i am apparently "on hold"...is that a good thing?? they told me to call back next week on wednesday..does that mean the committee is meeting again NEXT tuesday?? im so stressed

"On hold" just means they have not made a decision on your file yet. It is not a bad thing, it means they did not reject you. When I called in December, I was also "on hold". They reviewed my file again last week and I got in. So keep the hope alive!

how do u guys feel about living in "vegas" and having "weirdos" as your patients when clinic time comes? i've spoke to some students and my interview and got kinda worried when i heard of all these crazy stories about how hard it is to keep their patients' appt's bc they are weirdos, erratic, druggies, alkies, etc... iono...any thoughts on the neighborhood? also, my cousin goes to unlv law school there. she just recently got robbed at her gated condo. the next day, they came back for her car! :-/....
