Unreasonable PI writes negative recommendation letter

If you receive a committee letter, it replaces whatever requirements each school has. I had an interview with Harvard and only included 2 PI letters despite having worked with 6 PIs for extended periods of time.

You know that he has already written a bad letter (for the school scholarship) and he told you that he'll write at least a critical letter for med school applications. I'd skip his letter and to be on the save side, also the research. You don't even know whether it'll result in a first author publication at this point.
