I interviewed 10/23 and I havent yet heard anything yet... I just started using this thing tonight... I think im going to be put on hold 🙁((((((((( what do you guys think???

Those of you who got an email from Veronica last Friday (11/6), did you get an admission packet by now? It's been a little over a week and I didn't receive anything by snail mail. So I was wondering if there's something wrong with the mail or everyone else is in the same boat.

I got placed on hold too 🙁. UOP was my first choice and I feel really bad. I don't know what went wrong.. my GPA is well above their average, I have a decent amount of extracurriculars, and I think I expressed myself well in the interview. But oh well 🙁.
i interviewed on 10/23 and haven't heard anything either. so no one from 10/23 received a positive response? 🙁
anyone heard anything today?

what's the average age of people who got accepted for fall 2010?

anyone got a deferred letter. I'm going crazy, I apply early but they sent me a letter saying my appl. been placed on hold. I apply in tier 1. Does "hold" mean pretty a rejection. if so someone let me know, it's eating me up.
yeah, I apply into the first tier. I got into the first tier but I haven't heard anything about an invite
Congrats to those who got in. Must be a relief. Wow, lots of ppl already got interviews and I haven't heard anything. I'm starting to get my hopes down. My GPA is not that great as a undergrad now I'm working on my master's degree. I hope that will help.

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading the forum, but this is my first time posting.
I interviewed on 11/6 and also received my admissions email yesterday morning (11/18). It seems like a few people have asked for the stats of the others who got in, but were not responded to... so I will provide some of my stats.
I am a junior Chem major who will not be receiving my bachelors before matriculation (so others who will not be graduating still have hope!). I have a 3.70 GPA. President of Chemistry Club on campus, 1 year work experience in a pharmacy (with Tech license), and volunteer at a hospital. I had 2 pharmacists LORs and 1 science professor LOR. Interview went ok.
Hope this helps!

Congratulations! Have a good few months before the rigors of school start. Go snowboarding imo. 😀
UOP received everything from me on September, but I haven't heard anything yet except the letter that they noticed they were reviewing. When will I suppose to have their inviting? or it means they don't invite me for interview?
what's the average age of people who got accepted for fall 2010?
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm 20. I believe that UOP has a lower average age of students compared to other schools because approximately half of the students are from their pre-pharmacy program.

i will be 25 when school starts. hopefully you youngns will at least be 21 by that time so we can have fun.

September means your Tier 3. They have already contacted some of Tier 2, but not everyone... be patient and stay hopeful... I'm sure they have many applications to review. It seems like they haven't gotten to anyone in Tier 3 yet, so they are probably still working on Tier 2. If you do receive an interview it will be in January or later because all of the earlier dates are given out.

Same, I interviewed 11/13 and got my acceptance e-mail today! I can't believe how quick that was.
I had an interview on 11/6 and received an acceptance email from Veronica on 11/18.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the admission packet to arrive?
It took 12 days after the e-mail for the packet to arrive.

Seriously, I really want to meet you! I am so impressed by your interview skills. You got 4 out of 4 acceptance so far from your interviews. 👍 What's your secret??
BTW, please don't think I am stalking you. 😛 So happens that we applied to the same schools. Anyways, I am sure you are a great/competitive candidate. I hope we can be classmates next year.
for on-campus housing, if we choose that option, can we refuse it and stay somewhere else later? are there additional payments, or is it just an indicator of our interests?
does anyone know how the traffic from stockton to sacramento international airport is like on a friday night around 4 30 to 5 pm? my interview is on jan 15th and my flight leaves on the same date at 7pm!
FROM Stockton TO SMF is not bad whatsoever. You'll get pretty congested when you reach the I-5 Redding area and I-80 Eastbound merges into you from Natomas, but that's about it. Pretty much the whole way from March/Pershing all the way to that point will be 60mph or so.
The other direction, from Sacramento outward on I-5 southbound is really snarly during the afternoon commute, but you'll be headed in the opposing direction.
