Hi trying to do the most, but not too much for this update letter. So I had some abstracts accepted as podium presentations at a national ortho conference, one of which I'll be presenting. The rest I'll be co-author. Some questions regarding how I should write this:

Do I mention all of the titles and authors in a professional citation?
Do I attach their associated abstracts?

An abbreviated citation is fine. Do not include copies of the abstracts.

Great, thank you! Also, would you say this is a good time to send this update letter to a school that placed me on hold a little over a month ago? I read somewhere that you should send an update 2 weeks after being placed on hold.

How long will it be before you present at the conference?
Is this a research-focused school, primary-care focused school, or a service-focused school?
Do you have any other evidence of research productivity (pubs, posters, other podium presentations) already?
Any other relevant updates to current activities?
Is this pre- or post-interview?

1) Conference will be in February, so a little while from now.
2) Primary-care focused
3) Yes, I've done two other presentations at a similar conference recently that I also was going to update admissions on.

4) Pre-interview
If the school is open to pre-interview communications, I think it's fine to send one now. If pertinent, maybe include updated volunteer hours and/or shadowing, or anything that would appeal to the school's primary mission. Adding a statement of ongoing interest in their program won't hurt either.
