Dude where did you get this information from? I am sure they dont ask ....but if they do...comeon man we are dentist already and we should be able to answer the questions they ask...u dont require part-2 to have knowledge in clinical dentistry.....

i have work experience in india 1year and in US 1 year
also ,i worked on sop ...can say it worked for me
I showed them my research inclination and my interests
so please everyone applying to schools dont neglect this part...i think they consider it...also this is my perception!!so just dont go by it!!

and please apexlocator ..dont say unless know!!
and i never behaved as if i dont care ..i have been saying early interview doesnot mean you are in ...everyone 'll get chance ..just a matter of time !!
we all are here to help each other ...not to squabble

as far as i know through upenn threads and talking to people in UPENN ...its a personal interview they dont ask about clinical thing ..they can ask about your experience as dentist but wont shoot up with clinical q's reagarding rct's .inlays onlays ..blah blah
i know its a pain in ass if you are not done with part 2..so do i ..and expect you shd know everything ..i dont think that true
but i just know one person had been asked about crown prep ..and im sure if you are prep for practical exam for california u'll definately go through that...i know couple of people in UPENN they said its all personal interview rather more of conversation...
hope that has mitigated your pain

Hi Indian BDS,

Thanks for responding. I went through old threads on UPENN and just as you said came across someone who was asked about crown prep. I have not been in touch with Dentistry for the past 3 years and also not preparing for the Calif exams. With NDB II not given, I am not very comfortable answering the clinical Qs.

BUt thanks for the clarification and all the best for your interview. Please let us know how it goes and the Qs asked. THis will help tremendously everyone on this thread.

hi, just wonder where you want to stay for the interview. divine tracy is not on the list this year and most of the hotels on upenn's list are very expensive. does anyone have any idea of picking a reasonable hotel? thanks
