Yo... Why'd they change the name to Upstate Medical UNIVERSITY? Why not CENTER?

I thought it was Upstate Medical College. Oh well. I am an applicant, and have not heard a thing from them. I called about 2 weeks ago to check on my app, and they told me that it hasn't even been REVIEWED yet! It was complete almost 5 months ago! What's up with that? I am interested to hear other applicants' experiences.

Buffalo should be called Upstate but I guess in this New York City-centric world, anything northwest of Manhattan is upstate
