Mine was at 4:30 but I got there around 3:45. I was there with my boyfriend.
My interview was at 3:30! I remember speaking with a girl who had her friend (that was a boy) there, too! Maybe that was you! Anyway, best of luck to you, hopefully we'll be hearing from them this week.Mine was at 4:30 but I got there around 3:45. I was there with my boyfriend.

Why aren't you taking the MCAT? You have fairly competitive GPA, so with a 30+ MCAT you can get into a NA schoolHi Everyone! First off congrats to those who received acceptances already and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those of you still waiting.
I have a few questions for you all, I originally applied through ABP for this application term but some unexpected circumstances came up and I decided to withhold my applications until next year. However I was hoping you all could give me some advice based on your applications / interviews on ways I could strengthen my application.
I had 3.98 High School GPA
3.71 Undergrad GPA - will now receive my Bachelors in Dec 2014.
I have not taken the MCAT.
250+ Hours of volunteering in a medical setting.
150 additional hours for volunteer - non medical
200 Hours paid Internship - Rehabilitative Medicine
400 Hours Paid Internship - Cardiac Rehabilitation
50 Hours of shadowing Physicians
20 Hours shadowing Physicians Assistant
I tutor for general bio and I am also starting as a Teaching Assistant in Physiological Psychology this coming summer.
Did a lot of you have a lot of experience working on research projects? Because I don't have any besides personal research projects that weren't heavily clinically based.
I know this is literally a year in advance but I am really worried that I won't get an acceptance next year and have to go through the whole process again. Taking 2 years off would really be discouraging so I am trying to do everything possible to make my applications as good as can be.
If there is another thread with this info that I missed I apologize for posting it on here. But I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback.
Thanks a bunch!

I strongly suggest you write it, regardless of wether you are a good test taker or not. You will eventually need to take difficult exam, be it the MCAT, MCQEE , STEP, etc..I am not a great test taker and would need to still take physics 1/2 on top of prepping for it. I want to study in Ireland and when I found out I wasn't required to take the MCAT I no longer considered it. I suppose I could prepare for it tho because it wouldn't hurt my chances! 🙂
Congratulations! Did you receive your acceptance through post, email, or both?GEP RCSI applicant here. Got my acceptance last night! (Chicago, IL)
I completely agree with t0ny, the costs might about the same if you go to school in the States as it is in Ireland but your residency options are significantly hampered by graduating from a school outside of NA if you ever intend on coming back and practicing. I completely understand the idea of wanting to avoid tough tests but regardless of what country you go to you're going to have to bite the bullet and prep for a ton of rough exams. Moreover, the fact that if you're graduating from Ireland the Steps/MCCEEs are going to hold a pretty significant amount more weight than your MCAT ever will isn't really going to help the notion of taking tests poorly. (I'm horrible at tests too). So this is just to say, you seem like a pretty awesome candidate, you should really think at taking the MCAT or at the very least (if you're a Canadian citizen) just apply to some schools in your province. Best of luck buddy, we're all rooting for ya!I am not a great test taker and would need to still take physics 1/2 on top of prepping for it. Did you get it via fedex?Hey guys, I just got my RCSI 6-year acceptance today. I'm from Toronto, Canada and it'll be great to meet a few other fellow North Americans going to RCSI. I've also read on some other forums that it's difficult to come back to Canada to US because once you graduate your an IMG so I'm still a little iffy...
yep. you can call them and ask if theres a package on its way to your address to check. good luck!Did you get it via fedex?

Hi guys! I got into RCSI 6 year program 🙂
Can someone make a Facebook page? What were your conditions?
I had an interview at the same time too! Ugh sucks to be waiting makes me nervous.
I'm sorry to hear that. Where do you live?I received an RCSI GEP rejection today via standard mail. It came directly from the school not ABP. I interviewed in NYC on 2/28. Good luck to all and hope the other schools come through. Look at the positives, I won't be at the level of debt originally anticipated after school!
How do you know it wasn't forwarded from ABP?Charleston, SC USA. No regrets, if all else fails I'll be learning polish this fall at Jagiellonian. Additionally they offer a potential to perform your last year clinicals in CA or NY. Always an added bonus.
I got a FedEx package in the mail. They never sent me an email.Congratulations! Did you receive your acceptance through post, email, or both?
Haha I'd call if I hadn't yesterday. None as of yesterday but maybe today! Maybe we should take turns calling hahaAny word on wether or not AB received more letters from RCSI yet?
