Correct me if I'm wrong, but most students who are accepted aren't accepted in the first batch (of 25). Realistically, this means that many students will have to wait until the next round of interviews to start getting accepted.
That's a tough situation you're in especially with a $2000 deposit.. That seems ridiculously high (isn't USC $500?)
