Does anyone know anything about the program? I might go, but I'm hesistant, because I can't find any solid info! I've been accepted, btw.

I know someone who is attending USC to get his MPH in global health. He's been insanely busy lately so I don't know if you can contact him. He's been pretty happy with the program. He said that a lot of the faculty have taken jobs at Claremont, so there is a lot of new faculty. For his program, I believe students can take 1-2 years and have to complete a practicum. Through his experience he has done a lot of good work with his mentor and traveled to Turkey to give talks. He has also had the opportunity to get heavily involved in APHA.

I don't know if this is the typical experience. My friend is a very outgoing people person who has many talents. I'm sure he's been aggressive in seeking out these opportunities. Yet he's been able to do these things while at USC. I have no idea if this is helpful to you, but hopefully it will be.

I did some quick research and found their student association.

is it possible to do a dual MPH MHA program at USC?

I know USC's MPH does not have a health policy/management concentration

No. There isn't a track for health policy/management, but you can do a dual degree (double masters) for mph/mha.

Wanted to revive this thread. Does anyone know about how this program ranks compared to others since it is isnt ranked. I dont care for rankings too much, but wondering how other schools view its reputation.
