USC-Status change to Alternate/Wait Listed

I haven't been monitoring USC's portal......when I checked it today it says: Alternate / Wait Listed.


Anybody else have this on their status?

Yes, a lot of people have had this after their interview. Basically everyone that got interviewed has the same status for now.

It's been everyone's status that interviewed for quite some time now. Everybody is "waitlisted" before they're accepted.

I'm 3.27overall 3.22science and 2.97 bcp with 23aa 23pa

what does all of this mean? I meant from "Alternate" to "waitlist." Is that going up or down?

I'm wondering if they're still gonna be offering interviews...even to people who applied very early. Any thoughts?
