Does anyone have some suggestions for classes that might be useful to take before starting an MPH program? I have an MD and have completed residency, and I want to start an MPH program in 2 years (can't start sooner due to work obligations). I am hoping to take a few classes in the meantime to make sure it's the right field for me, and possibly to get a head-start on a couple of classes I might need later. Thanks!

As someone going in the opposite direction, e.g. MPH->physician, I would advise biostats or epidemiology courses. They will have the broadest impact on any type of medicine you practice.
I would also call the school(s) you are considering and see what they take for transfer credits. It would suck if you took some of degree requisites and they weren't applied in your MPH program.
