How much of a difference would it make if I use Destroyer 2017 instead of 2018 edition? I recently joined the DAT destroyer study group on FB where almost everyone is using 2018 and Dr. Romano thinks 2017 is outdated esp. the math section. Has anyone used an older version and done very well on the DAT?

I took the DAT in July 2017 and I would totally agree the math portion is outdated. They changed the DAT math part when I was taking it and it had a lot of those new questions (which weren't on Math Destroyer 2017). The science is fine in my opinion but I feel like Dr. Romano knows best.

I took it in Aug 2017 w/ the 2017 version and don't think it's too outdated. It does lack QC problems, but those can be found on Bootcamp and I think that's plenty of practice. The Math Destroyer is good for all other types of problems, and for getting your timing down. I personally would not spend an extra $200 for basically just 100-200 or so new problems all together (Bio/GC/OC/QR) and added QC-- spend that $200 on BC for all their practice tests and generators.
Link to breakdown in sig! Best of luck.

Yes I def don't want to spend more money than I need to. Like you and ppaa mentioned, it's mainly the QR portion so I'll just go ahead with BC for that. Awesome thanks!
