USMLE p/f, should i quit anki?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
But theoretically, if your Zanki reviews took like an hour a day by that point, do you think continuing with them could be worth it?
Maybe drugs and bugs. If you don’t understand pathophysiology after over a year of Zanki and potentially multiple question banks then I worry for you. You’ll still be rehashing things like the differences between pbc/psc for example. But most rotations are ~60 hrs/week and you’ve got to focus on new stuff for the shelf. Trust me, I know it’s scary to ditch Zanki after so many blood sacrifices to it. But I think stepping away from it for a while actually made me understand a lot of it better.

Completely unsustainable imo. My Zanki reviews 2 weeks before step were >1500/day. If you keep using anki in third year, you’ll be covering 1500-2500 new cards per month in dorian. I had to let it go.

What's Dorian? Is that a deck for Step2?

Is it worth keeping up with Zanki into M3? Imagine I won't have many reviews...
If you can , you will be a god amongst mere mortals. If you cant, thats fine too, because a lot of things stick with you.

Lol, I'm just imagining someone rushing home to do their reviews after an 8 hour step exam. A true disciple of Zanki.

Dude, the best predictor of Step 2CK score is Step 1 score. This idea that people should just all of a sudden do the bare minimum for Step 1 prep and give up on anki, zanki, UFAPS is ridiculous

Really though, for actually understanding pathophysiology and getting a strong background in a wide swath of diseases, Zanki and UFAPS has been king. I can’t imagine what rotations would be like if I weren’t already building such a large base knowledge.
