USMLE Scores

I'm curious about something. I know that the NBME will not release USMLE scores without written permission from the test-taker. However, is it possible for residency programs to find out if a person took the test, without getting their score? (ie, if you took COMLEX and USMLE but only used your COMLEX score on ERAS, can the residency director find out that you sat for the USMLE?) Thanks.
