USMLE Step I score to be competitive?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm not sure about "competetive" but you should be able to find a good spot somewhere. I guess it would depend on your LORs, dean's letter, statement, personability during interview.

A 207 should get you interviews at UMichigan, Med Col of Wisconsin, UIC, Loyola and others to name a few; provided of course that the rest of your application is up to speed. U Wisconsin, U Chicago, Northwestern will be harder, but apply anyways. You should have nice chances at a good program though.

i just got my board scores back and i am also very interested in anesthesia, but i've never had much exposure to the field and i dont know how competitive it is or what kind of scores can make it. i got a 237 and i have pretty much high passed and passed over the past 2 years. can anyone comment? thanks in advance.
