Greetings all,

I have one Q: in the documents section of ERAS where you authorize the release of your transcript, there is a statement at the bottom which asks whether we want our updated scores sent automatically, which cannot be changed.

Since I originally did not know my Step 2CK score I selected "no", but now that I received my score (which I was very pleased with) I went back and changed my answer to "yes." Do you think my answer change will go through in spite of the fact that the disclaimer states that the answer cannot be changed?

I hope I made sense,

Thanks!!

I think it can't be changed once you submit your application.

Since you can't submit your application yet, you can change it as much as you like.

Nice, that's what I thought; just needed some reassurance!!

Thanks for the help!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure whether you can change the automatic re-transmittal option. I know you can't after your app is submitted, but you can probably change it now.

However, you can always go back and manually retransmit your scores once you know them. So, if a USMLE transcript has already been uploaded into your file, you can just have them re-do it again, and the programs will re-download it in their next wave of downloading. If you trying to change the automatic transmittal option doesn't work, just go in have them send a new copy, which is what everyone has to do that doesn't click the automatic button.
