Just found this FAQ:
"I recently applied to more programs but my USMLE transcript appears as not being uploaded yet. If it is already in the ERAS PostOffice why isn't it available?
Each time you apply to new programs the NBME or ECFMG has to process a new request for your USMLE transcript. You should allow 3-5 days for this to be completed. This will ensure that the programs have the most up-to-date version of your USMLE transcript. "
So maybe it takes 3-5 days for them to be processed when we initially apply? 😕

I don't know about that, but my USMLE transcript was uploaded about an hour and a half or two hours after the rest of the materials hit the ERAS PostOffice.
What's really funny, are the programs that downloaded my materials after the USMLE transcript was uploaded, there are different download times for the USMLE than for everything else. Like it has to be done separately or something.

What the ****, are you serious?
You all need to relax, it will get uploaded just give them some time to process 14,000 requests. I swear, you people don't even wait a few hours before freaking out.

Mine is still not up. Anyone else still waiting?
Mine was posted 12 hours after I originally submitted and I saw that two programs have downloaded the update just minuets later. Hang in there guys/gals and best of luck.
Okay dude..I hope you arent serious. And if you arent, I hope you stay around on the forum during this season to give us a laugh to calm down our nerves 😉. Mine was uploaded a couple of hours back - I will say, give it 12 hours or so. I think the programs should get mine soon 🙂. Use the Surgeon General for the programs who download your application at 9:16 am and reject you at 9:18 am 😉

Anybody up for a class-action suit against AAMC, etc? This is patently outrageous. How dare they not please our anal to the Nth degree, instant gratification generation the way we demand. We pay them hundreds of dollars and then, gasp, have to wait two days, 48 fu*&in hours for them to upload our hard earned USMLE grades. This is likely worse than Obama's Death Panels, and if it goes on for a few more hours, I think it would be fair to start comparing it to the Nazi regime.

A contradiction is terms there buddy. Telling me to calm down while shouting at me. Not very nice. I'm just a nervous guy who is seeing that numerous people's transcripts have been uploaded. I thought this was a forum where one could go for help/advice.
Maybe take your own advice a bit.
Hey sore eye, I feel your pain 😉..I wouldve given it 48 hours as how ERAS suggested, but there are a lot of people who have had it uploaded by 12...including me..and I was a bit anxious till then. So if it would make you feel any better, just give them a call. It will make you feel better, and may remind them to be fair to everyone as well 😉. Peace.
Mine also says that transcript wasn't downloaded. This happened to me last year, only I found out about this much later, as in many months later--there is no telling how many rejections I got just because my application wasn't complete. Only one program had the decency to point it out, but I still couldn't get my transcripts to download.There was some problem that lasted that long and no one even fixed it. All that $$ down the drain possibly.

Another reason to call (after 48 hours...or before, if you think your entering psychiatric domain...not making fun of anyone 😉...I almost entered it till it was uploaded).
You should have sued ERAS! Good luck this year!

No, you have to go to the ADTS post office section and see if it is in your post office. Mine is released, but not uploaded to my postoffice, so programs can't download it.
This is a total outrage. My next email is going straight to OBAMA. We need healthcare reform now! If the government ran healthcare and ERAS included, this unbelievable wait time would never happen!😡
I called ERAS and they said this is normal - "it is going to take 3-5 days after you applied before your USMLE score is up"
Hmm..though my transcript has been uploaded, I think its a bit unfair to those whose hasnt. It should be the same for everyone, as long as they asked for it on the same day. Anyway, I guess we can't do much and hope programs dont run the screen till next week. Look forward to the Labor Day weekend people!
I hope this is not an aphabetical thing, cause i am Zscrewed! Seriously! I love this thread but it tickles me the wrong way that the USMLE can't get their $hi@t together! Seriously, it's not like I tell the USMLE to wait 3-5days for me to take my Steps...lol, they're not reciprocating the LOVE!!!

P.S. Im wondering if its to do with the time when you applied...i applied at around 9 am ET on Sept 1st, and mine was uploaded about 12 hours after that...im wondering if the number of applicants increased exponentially after that???? Just a thought...

HA! why not just say that from the beginning so i don't pace around forming some conspiracy theory in my tiny neurotic brain!

i was in the same boat as a bunch of you guys too! just as i was responding to this post-- noticed that my transcript finally got uploaded-- exactly 24 hrs later!
Mine is uploaded too. Not sure if I should send a thank you after my previous threatening emails, but I still think 29 hours was way too long to wait. That could cost me my spot at MGH or UCSF, whichever one I would have went to if my application was complete on time.

I think the only place it cost you a spot was that was St Barnabas, NY. MGH and UCSF are probably the last ones in the lot to send out IV invites....or at least you didnt make it to their quota of "anal" applicants for this year 😉

Right, it supposedly takes 3-5 days from the time you send it to programs to actually show up in your postoffice. But it's been more like 24 hours. Probably the later you apply the faster it will show up just because you won't be part of the Sept 1 log jam, but who knows.
Part of the fee you pay when you apply is for the USMLE transcript, so it can't be uploaded until you actually apply.
God some of you people are neurotic. I promise you that there is no program in America that has given out all their interview invites on the first day.
BUMP, looks like a couple years ago the USMLE transcript time was about 24 hours. Anybody have theirs uploaded yet?
Nope. I'd be kind of surprised if it gone done over the weekend, too. But I guess we'll see 🙂
