USMLE Validity in Australia / NZ

Hey guys, I've been searching the internet for about an hour now and got very confusing and contradicting facts.

Is there a definite answer whether USMLE steps 1-3 passage, is enough to practice as an MD / apply for residency in Australia, and NZ, without taking additional examinations? is there a difference between the policy of the two countries?

USMLE is US licensing. There’s different exams for general registration here

Exams

USMLE exams if within the past 5 years, permit you to apply to sit the NZREX clinical exam and gain registration via that pathway.

Australia: No it is not. Assuming you're in the US...Aside from the USMLE (which simply gets you out of taking the AMC exam), you must work two years as a resident before you can apply for registration. For details see:
