UVA and time for interview invites

Hey I'm an out of stater with pretty good stats(but maybe not good enough for uVA OOS) notified 2 weeks ago my file was complete at UVS. If anyone in a similar situation has had experience with this school, whats the turnaround time like from file completion to possible interview notification? thanks......

I was instate and notified in a week. It may not be the same situation though, so I'm mostly just bumping this post for you.

For me, it took them about 1.5 months to offer an interview. They make their decisions quickly afterwards, they'll let ya know within 2 weeks postinterview.

I am out-of-state. I was complete around October 1st and I recieced an invite about one month later. The interview isn't until the end of January however.

my husband is out-of-state for uva. he completed his application in early september, received an interview invite in early october (these are very very approximate) and was interviewed in early november. they got their decision to him by mid-november. uva does have good out-of-state stats, but i think they're more concerned about whether applicants are a good fit for the school.

Hey, I was complete at UVa early October and I was given an interview invite mid November. Its not until the end of January though!

My interview invite was dated two days after my file was complete. This should be taken with a grain of salt however, since I applied to UVA back in August and then interviewed in the second week of interviews. I know their office is swamped right now (they've got a record number of apps), so it'll probably be a good wait at this time of the application season. Just hold on tight, I'm sure they'll come through for you eventually! 🙂
