I was told that Dr. Douglas was leaving UW and a new chair was coming. Can anyone confirm this and have any insight into what may happen with the program and/or the peds there?

Excuse me, I meant to say "program director" instead of "chair". Laramore is staying on but my question about the training program still stands...

I think Dr. Douglas is stepping down as program director, but staying at UW. Shilpin Patel is going to be the new PD and is supposed to be very dynamic and energetic...exactly what UW needs.
