I've been noticing pretty frequent mistakes in UWorld. Some outdated treatments, a few typos (but important ones), and some explanations that don't really support the answer. Probably at least one mistake a block....getting annoying.

But concerning the outdated treatments...i wonder how often the USMLE is updated.

I do understand it is the old reliable mainstay but i think it needs some TLC.

FYI:

I just took Step 2CK a few weeks ago and they designed a question to get you to understand that Pap Smears start at 21 now PERIOD.

(vs the old @21, or three years after starting sex)

In fact, the old answer was up there.... so.... yeah...

How many questions about Whipple's disease are there as well. Seriously 0.0001 percent incidence. One and done uworld, one and done.

I wonder why the last few blocks of the qbank are almost all 2011-2012 questions....interesting.

MKSAP Qs for ABIM has so few Qs on the Dia-beetus but a plethora of weird thyroid cancers etc 🙄
