VCU dentist recommendation

I applied to VCU and AADSAS sent them a committee letter, but the committee letter did not include a recommendation from a dentist that I shadowed. Is it mandatory to still send them a separate letter from the dentist I shadowed?

damn i also just found out UNLV requires a dental recommendation... gotta go get one now... do I send the recommendation letter to AADSAS and they send it out to the schools?
