VCU/MCV Waitlist movement

Anyone know about in-state waitlist movement for VCU/MCV this year? I was wait-listed during the last batch of acceptances.

I'm so interested in VCU because I already live here, I know the VA system well (I work here and it's used for rotations in 3rd/4th year), my wife is in the art school at VCU, tuition is MUCH cheaper, and it would be nice not to have to move.

I honestly thought I was a shoo-in for being a P.T. grad from the same stinking school. Boy, was that naive.

Would writing a letter of intent help?

I think the instate list is moving pretty slowly. As for a LOI, I don't think it helps that much. Their list is ranked so I can't see it being very helpful. Good luck.
