VCU vs UIC

Hi, I recently got accepted into both VCU and UIC and I am trying to decide between the two schools! I am really torn between the both schools because they both are really good schools. Being not from either state, the cost of both programs would be similar and I would love any input on the pros and cons or any information on either schools. Thank you so much🙂

I would say UIC for sure! The cost, reputation, clinicals, faculty, and location were all a big reason why I am attending UIC! I had to choose between 8 different schools and I have to say I'm happy with my choice. I am attending this fall!

I can only speak on the Pros for VCU as of right now.
- Super new building opening in the spring for the incoming class of 2022
- Located on a medical campus so there's plenty of opportunities to be engaged in the healthcare community
- Richmond is a great city with plenty of stuff to do downtown
- Plenty of clinical affiliations

UIC may have more opportunities for clinical rotations/ internships. I love Richmond, but there are likely to be more connections available in a larger city like Chicago.
